what is mindset coaching (life coaching)?
In mindset coaching, we begin by gaining clarity around how you are living your life now, seeing what patterns of thinking and behavior are not serving you, and then bringing habits and strategies of thinking into each day.
is there homework?
Not necessarily. I do ask you to set intentions each morning around the area of your life that you would like to grow in. Additionally, I would like you to assess your day prior to gain insight into your choices in your day.
We use this information to begin to gather evidence as to what is working and what potentially is not. Then we brainstorm ways to change, using YOUR brain and the way it work so that you can gain the most momentum.
why do you recommend the minimum package of 6 months?
You didn’t gain your weight in a month did you? Or, did your marriage fail in the last 2 weeks? Here’s the best one….did your thinking pattern just develop last week?
It takes time to look at and begin to undo patterns of thinking or action that are not serving you in your life. Then, once you begin to see those patterns, we brainstorm strategies to change them.
Once we have the roadmap to take you to living your best life, then it is about doing the work consistently to make the changes part of your life, an automatic habit that will serve you for the rest of your life.
how do i find out if this is a good fit?
Good question! You can use the “Contact me” form to reach out. I offer a FREE one hour consult call. This call walks you through an overview of where you feel you are in your life, and what you are hoping to get out of coaching.
Then together we decide if my style of coaching is a good fit for you and where you want to go with your life.
CAN I JUST DO MONTH TO MONTH?
No. To do this work you have to be committed to the time frame. If you choose to show up fully each week and to take the time to practice the habits and strategies at a deep level, I can guarantee that within the first months you will see changes in your life.
But, at this early stage, if you were to only coach for the first 1 - 3 months, life will ultimately happen and you will go back to your default way of living without even realizing it. You will then realize where you are and wonder how you got there.
Coaching gives you the tools to catch when life happens and walks you through what to do to get back to living with intentionality.
what can i expect at the end of this course?
If you show up fully each week and commit to the work, you can expect to be able to live each day with clarity and intentionality. You can expect to be able to live into the days when life doesn’t go so great, and still be happy with how you chose to show up. You can expect to be able to watch how your brain thinks and ask, “Does that serve me?”, and move on.
do i do business coaching?
Yes. We dive deep into clarifying what your goals are right up front, and then spend the remaining weeks finding tools to get you there.
Prior to becoming a mindset coach, I owned and operated with my husband a very successful 115 employee racquet and athletic club for 34 years. I have extensive knowledge of management styles, communication, assessing existing processes for potential streamlining, goal setting, and time management.
Owning your own business makes you learn quickly how to wear a lot of hats, especially when it is a family business.
